Maine Coons are the perfect domestic pets. The Maine Coon is well known for its large body, easygoing temperament and appearance. They can grow to be quiet large, males commonly weigh up to 10-12 kilos. Females are generally smaller than males and weigh up to 4-6 kilos. They have a long rectangular body. The coat is longer on the belly, back legs and the tail, shorter on the shoulders and back. This breed is known for its loving temperament. Maine Coons can be very dog-like in their behavior. Maine Coons are typically very calm and listen to their owners. Female are very lovely and patient mothers. |
